The Wapiti Whitewater Kayakers Club is hosting the Radical Reels Film Tour – September 27, 2009.  For the uninitiated, The Radical Reels Film Tour is the cream of the crop in films too extreme for the Best of the Banff Mountain Film Tour. This year’s radical reels films will features such sports as:
·         Mountain Biking
·         Base Jumping (and gliding)
·         Climbing
·         Extreme Skiing
·         Extreme Ski Sailing (yes)
 
As a bonus, there is also a film with great highlights of three of our members trip to the Grand Canyon last year entitled “A Grande Adventure”
 
Tickets are $15 advance/$18 door and include all the films, plus door prizes including a chance to win a kayak courtesy of Valhalla Pure!  Doors at 6:30 with films at 7:00 at The Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre.  (GPRC)
 
Tickets are available after September 1st at Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Grande Prairie, The Crystal Centre, and Culligan.

This promises to be a super fun evening with a one night raffle for the grand prize of a snowboard package courtesy of Dark Flavour, and a second prize of a seasons pass courtesy of Nitehawk Recreation Area.  We will also be unveiling our new club T-shirt designs (tres chic).
