Nitehawk will be CLOSED this evening, Friday, December 12th due to forecasted “feels like” temperatures (windchill included) below our -30 degree cut off.
Here’s a quick reminder of “Nitehawk’s Cold Weather Policy” when decisions are made regarding closing the hill due Cold Weather.
* Nitehawk’s Temperature Cutoff is “Feels Like -30 Degrees Celsius” (including windchill) anytime throughout our operating hours.
* For our Lesson Programs we use a Temperature Cutoff of Feels Like -25 degrees celsius (including windchill), as many of our lessons are with very young children. Lessons cancelled due to cold weather closures will be rescheduled and in the case of our multi-week programs an additional lesson will be added at the end.
* Pre-purchased #Aquatera Tube Zone Passes will be issued refunds when a Cold Weather Closure occurs. These refunds will be processed and sent to guests within 24-48hrs.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you on the slopes again tomorrow, Saturday December 13th, when temperatures are forecasted to warm up in time for opening, and more fresh snow is on its way.
Stay warm today!
