RV Park Terms and Conditions

Nitehawk Campground & RV Park is a great place to spend your time away. With beautiful scenery and dense foliage, the sites are both treed and private, offering an exceptional camping experience.

NITEHAWK CAMPGROUND – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: April 8, 2026

By making a reservation or occupying a site at Nitehawk Campground (“Campground”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. 

1. Reservations & Occupancy

  • Reservations must be prepaid in full.

  • Booking methods: Campspot or by phone (Nitehawk: 780-532-6637 / Bear Paw: 780-402-8777).

  • Check-in: 2:00 PM | Check-out: 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in/late check-out permitted only with prior approval.

  • Site assignments are at management’s discretion; requests are not guaranteed.

  • Only self-contained RVs with fully operational plumbing systems are allowed. Tent camping is prohibited.

  • Subletting or commercial use of sites is strictly prohibited.

  • Maximum occupancy per site may be enforced for safety and compliance.

2. Payments, Deposits & Fees

  • Valid credit card required at all times.

  • Monthly guests: invoices must be paid online via the provided link.

  • Security deposit: $300–$550 (refundable subject to inspection, outstanding charges, and site cleanliness).

  • Refunds processed within 5–10 business days after departure.

  • Electricity for monthly stays: $0.20/kWh.

  • Late payment fee: $35/week. Accounts overdue by 5 business days may result in immediate service suspension or eviction.

  • Early departures: monthly rates recalculated at applicable nightly/weekly rates.

  • NSF or disputed payments may incur administrative fees.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation Process:

  • All cancellations must be made directly with a Nitehawk employee. Do not cancel via email or voicemail.

Fees & Refunds:

  • $10 reservation/cancellation fee applies to all bookings and is non-refundable.

Refund Schedule (based on notice before 12:00 PM on scheduled arrival):

  • 3+ days prior: Full camping fee refunded (minus $10 fee)

  • 2 days prior: One night’s camping fee forfeited

  • 1 day prior: Two nights’ camping fees forfeited

  • Less than 24 hours / No-show: No refund

  • No additional penalties apply beyond the above schedule.

  • Refunds processed to the original payment card within 5–10 business days.

Exceptions / No Refunds:

  • No refunds for weather, site conditions, air/water quality, wildlife, insects, fire/liquor bans, vehicle issues, navigation errors, construction, or evictions. These are beyond the control of Nitehawk Campground.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

  • No excessive noise, shouting, or disruptive behavior.

  • Illegal activity, intoxication causing disturbance, or abusive language results in immediate eviction without refund.

5. Safety & Restricted Access

  • Speed limits: 10 km/h in the campground; 30 km/h on the property.

  • No unauthorized vehicles, ATVs, dirt bikes, or off-road vehicles.

  • Fireworks, drones, wood-burning appliances in trailers, and on-site vehicle maintenance are prohibited.

  • Gate access is restricted to registered guests; sharing credentials is prohibited.

  • Management may enter sites for safety, maintenance, or enforcement.

6. Campfires & Environmental Compliance

  • Fires must be attended, small, and fully extinguished (soak & stir).

  • Follow all local and provincial fire advisories: Fire Advisory Link

  • Guests are responsible for monitoring advisories; no refunds for fire bans.

  • Firewood: $10 per 14 lb bundle, order by 4:30 PM Fridays.

7. Pets

  • Pets must be leashed, quiet, and under control at all times.

  • Pets must not be left unattended outside at any time, including when secured by leash, kennel, or enclosure.

  • All pets must remain inside the RV when guests are not present on-site.

  • Animal kennels, pens, or enclosures are not permitted on campsite premises.

  • Immediate cleanup required; fees: $75–$150 if staff must remove waste.

  • Management may remove pets that cause disturbances.

8. Site Appearance & Maintenance

  • Maximum 1 RV + 2 operational vehicles per site. Additional vehicles in overflow.

  • Sites must remain clean and orderly; no accumulation of debris or clutter.

  • No permanent or temporary structures without written approval; unauthorized structures may be removed at guest expense.

  • Sewer connections must be secure and compliant.

  • Skirting must be removed by May 15.

9. Utilities & Resource Use

  • Misuse of water, electricity, or other utilities is prohibited.

  • Filling pools, washing vehicles, or using power for non-standard purposes is prohibited.

  • Guests are liable for any damage caused to the infrastructure.

10. Wildlife Safety

  • Bear country; all food, trash, and attractants must be stored securely.

  • Failure to comply may result in immediate removal for safety reasons.

11. Alcohol & Cannabis

  • Permitted only at your site in accordance with Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis regulations.

  • Public intoxication or disturbance is prohibited.

12. Amenities & Service Limitations

  • Amenities: garbage disposal, sani-dump, non-potable water, showers/laundry, flush toilets (weekends only).

  • Wi-Fi: “nitehawk”; service not guaranteed.

  • Laundry: no oversized or pet-hair-heavy items.

13. Seasonal Operations

  • April 1 – May 1: limited services during seasonal rest.

  • Operations are subject to weather and safety constraints.

14. Liability & Indemnity

  • Guests assume all risks, including injury, theft, wildlife encounters, or environmental hazards.

  • Nitehawk is not liable for damage to personal property, personal injury, or service interruptions.

  • Guests indemnify and hold harmless Nitehawk from any claims arising from their stay.

  • Use of facilities is at the guest’s own risk.

15. Insurance

  • RVs must carry valid insurance. Proof may be requested.

16. Eviction & Enforcement

  • Immediate eviction may occur for:

    • Non-payment

    • Rule violations

    • Safety concerns

  • No refunds issued upon eviction.

17. Non-Payment Protocol

  • Day 3: Email reminder

  • Day 4: Phone call

  • Day 5: Gate access locked

  • Day 6: Power shutoff & locked box

  • Day 7: Trespassing notice issued by By-Law

18. Emergency Procedures

  • In emergencies, management may override normal operations.

  • Guests must comply with all emergency directives.

19. Surveillance & Privacy

  • Property monitored by security cameras for safety and operations.

  • Guests consent to monitoring by staying on-site.

20. Acceptance of Terms

  • By reserving or occupying a site, guests acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
