Youth Adventure Bike Camp Ages 13-15

Take on technical terrain and faster descents while learning new skills in our Youth Bike Camp! Our instructors will help you ride faster and tackle steeper terrain. Build confidence with fellow riders in this action-packed camp.

Equipment Required

• Front and rear disc brakes
• Gears
• Front suspension
• Certified helmet
• Advanced riders: full face helmet and shin pads recommended
• Proper shoes (no sandals, crocs, or boots)

Intermediate (Level 1)

Skills Needed:

• Pedal and balance on Green (beginner) terrain
• Occasionally stand off the seat on bumpy terrain
• Stop, steer, and change direction comfortably
• Basic gear usage

Goals:

• Descend Green trails while standing off the seat
• Show proper body positioning on varied terrain
• Use both brakes to stop safely
• Shift gears correctly for different terrains
• Navigate small obstacles on Green or easy Blue trails
• Learn front and rear wheel lifts, and bunny hops

Advanced (Level 2)

Skills Needed:

• All Level 1 skills
• Confident body positioning on Green and easy Blue terrain

Goals:

• Correct body positioning on Green and easier Blue terrain
• Increase speed on Green and easier Blue terrain
• Adjust body position while braking
• Use brakes correctly to maintain control
• Shift gears through Green and easier Blue terrain
• Ride over small obstacles with proper body positioning
• Scan the trail and choose the best line
• Confidently perform front and rear wheel lifts, and bunny hops
• Roll over small tabletop jumps

Session #1: July 21st-24th (8:30am – 4:30pm)

Session #2: August 12th-15th (8:30am – 4:30pm)
