Bike Park 2024 UPDATE:
Hello Grande Prairie & Region,
Thank you for your support last summer! The Team at Nitehawk are excited for the upcoming 2024 Bike Season. This season will see the return of the EasyLOOP System on the Platter Lift, the continued operation of the Shuttle Van and Huck-wagon, more new trail features, and some exciting race events throughout the Bike Season.
We have also started work with our Board of Directors to create a trail development plan that will provide Nitehawk’s Bike Park with future expansion ideas as sponsorship/fundraising dollars come available.
We can’t wait to see you all on the trails this Spring & Summer.

Safety:
Just as in previous years we ask that all riders “Pre-Ride, Re-Ride and then Free-Ride” the trails, to ensure they are free of any obstacles or hazards and to please obey all trail signs and any trail closures. Always ride with a buddy and within your limits. And Please remember that the bike trails at Nitehawk Bike Park do require at least a Full Day or Two to dry following any rain event, so please give them the time required to dry, and to prevent damage to the trails.
Getting Up Hill:
Wednesday Evenings from 5:30-9:00 pm/Dusk & Saturdays & Sundays from 11:00 am-5:00 pm our 15 Passenger Shuttle Van with “Huck Wagon” Trailer (designed by Aztec Engineering & fabricated by Sundown Oilfield Services) will be lapping from the bottom of the Hill up to our lower Chalet and than finishing off with our NEW EasyLoop System installed on our Platter Lift to bring you up the hill. This new addition will allow you to do laps on all upper trails by returning to the lower parking lot. Access to our shuttle service & EasyLoop Platter Lift will be by purchasing your tickets in person at the Chalet.
Pedal Power/After Hours Riding:
Unfortunately, Nitehawk will no longer be able to allow after-hours riding. Our New Insurance Underwriters have informed us that all visitors to our facility must only access our trail system during shuttle & lift operating hours. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this regard.
Regarding Pedal Power Riding, for our Enduro friends, Nitehhawk is working on getting Easy Street ready for Uphill Riders. Please note that all Uphill Riders still are required to purchase a Pass In-Person from the Chalet. There will not be any afterhours uphill riding allowed.
Riders caught riding without a lift pass and after hours will be banned from the Bike Park for the remainder of the Bike Season.
Food Services:
During our Uphill Assist hours, we will have food and beverage services with simple and tasty offerings out of our Snowmakers Family Lounge. Wings, poutine, burgers and more will be here to fuel you up.
Dig Nights:
We will invite you out to help put some TLC into the trails. Offering incentives to any of our volunteers who come lend a hand.
