NITEHAWK CAMPGROUND – TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective April 2025
1. Reservation & Check-In Policy
Prepaid reservations are required. Book via Campspot or by calling Nitehawk at 780-532-6637 / Bear Paw at 780-402-8777.
Check-in: 2:00 PM | Check-out: noon.
Sites are assigned via the reservation system. Site selection upon arrival is not permitted.
Only self-contained RVs with working toilets, showers, and holding tanks are allowed. Tent camping is not permitted.
Subletting is strictly prohibited. All bookings must be under the names of the guests staying in the RV on-site.
2. Payment & Billing
A valid credit card must be on file for all guests.
Full payment is required before arrival.
Invoices must be paid online via the invoice link sent to guests.
E-transfers (if necessary) accepted at accounting@gonitehawk.com.
A refundable site deposit ($300–$500) is required. Refunds are issued within 5 business days after departure, pending power reading, account clearance, and site cleanliness.
Power is charged at $0.20/kWh.
Late fees: $35.00/week for overdue accounts. Accounts 5 business days overdue are subject to eviction.
Rates are subject to change.
3. General Site Conduct
Quiet hours: 10:30 PM – 8:00 AM.
Loud music, shouting, and disruptive behavior are prohibited.
Disorderly conduct, intoxication, illegal substances, or vulgar language will result in eviction without refund.
No fireworks allowed.
Speed limit: 10 km/h in the campground; 30 km/h on Nitehawk property.
4. Restricted Access & Safety
Stay out of closed or restricted areas.
Gate access is for registered guests only. Sharing key fobs or gate codes will result in eviction.
No trailers with wood stoves.
No vehicle maintenance on-site.
ATVs, dirt bikes, and off-road vehicles are prohibited.
Drones are not permitted.
5. Campfires & Firewood
Fires must be small, attended, and fully extinguished (soak and stir method).
Do not burn garbage.
Fire Bans
All local and provincial fire bans must be strictly followed during your stay. It is the responsibility of guests to stay informed about current fire bans or advisories by visiting: https://mdgreenview.ab.ca/departments/fire-rescue-services/fire-advisories/
Please note: No refunds or discounts will be issued due to fire bans, as these restrictions are mandated by local authorities and beyond our control.
Firewood: $10 per 14 lb bundle. Order by 3:30 PM on Fridays.
6. Pets
Pets must be leashed, quiet, and not left outside unattended.
Immediate cleanup required.
$75 cleanup fee if staff must remove waste.
7. Site Regulations & Spring Cleanup
Max 1 RV and 2 operational vehicles per site; extras in overflow.
Skirting must be removed by May 15, 2024.
Items must be neatly stored behind trailers.
No beverage containers or trash left out.
Sewer connections must be airtight with rigid elbows.
No tents; screen tents allowed.
Water cannot be used for pressure washers, water toys, pool filling, or vehicle washing.
Out-of-season RVs must be hidden from view or moved to overflow.
Garbage/recycling must go in designated bins.
8. Wildlife & Bear Safety
This is bear territory—keep sites clean.
Store food, trash, and toiletries in your camper or bear-proof bins.
Clean BBQs and dispose of grease properly.
No pet/bird/squirrel food outside.
Wildlife sightings: Call Alberta Fish & Wildlife at 1-800-642-3800.
9. Cannabis & Alcohol Use
Permitted only at your site or in your RV, per AGLC regulations.
10. Amenities & Facilities
Amenities: garbage disposal, sani-dump, non-potable water, showers/laundry, flush toilets (weekends only).
Laundry: No oversized or pet-hair-heavy items.

11. Office Hours & Seasonal Operations
Office: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
April 1 – May 1: Seasonal rest period; limited services.
12. Insurance & Liability
Guests are responsible for insuring their RVs.
Nitehawk is not liable for:
Wind, hail, storms, fire, vandalism, theft, animal damage, or acts of God.
No refunds for fire bans or road construction.

Emergency Situations & Gate Access:
In the event of a power outage, fire evacuation, frost, or any other situation posing a risk to guests or affecting operations, the campground gate may be left open to ensure safety and accessibility. Please be aware that frost may cause temporary gate malfunctions. Guests are asked to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious or unwelcome activity, including unfamiliar or strange vehicles, to campground staff.
