Nitehawk Snowboard Club is Grande Prairie’s home base for freestyle progression. Based out of Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park, the club helps experienced riders push their skills in both Freestyle and Speed Events; whether you’re chasing new tricks or prepping for local and provincial competitions.
As a non-profit club, they run a 10-week program from January to March, training on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30–8:30 p.m. right here at Nitehawk. The focus is on riders ages 8–18 who have already mastered the T-bar or platter lift and can confidently link turns; aka you’re past the basics and ready to level up. 😉
Nitehawk Snowboard Club attends multiple Alberta Snowboard–sanctioned events throughout the season, including major competitions such as the Arctic Winter Games, giving athletes the chance to test their skills against some of the best in the province and beyond.
They’re proud to be an inclusive, welcoming club that’s always on the lookout for new shredders who are ready to work hard, have fun, and support each other.
Think you’ve got what it takes?
