If you’re ready to push your limits and take your skiing to the next level, Northern Extreme Freestyle is Grande Prairie’s premier freestyle ski club. Based out of Nitehawk Year-Round Adventure Park, the team trains both recreational and competitive athletes in the most dynamic freestyle disciplines—slopestyle, moguls, and big air.
Whether you’re working on your first small jump or gearing up for provincial and national competition, this is where your freestyle journey truly takes off.
Thursday: 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The season kicks off as soon as the hill opens (typically early December) and runs until the end of March.
Perfect for young skiers ready to build confidence and have fun on the slopes. This entry-level program focuses on developing solid carving skills and introduces athletes to basic jumps and terrain park features—all in a supportive, play-based environment.
Designed for athletes who want to elevate their skiing to the next level. Freestylerz emphasizes progression—learning new tricks, spins, and technical freestyle skills.
Competition opportunities are encouraged but never mandatory, making it ideal for both driven learners and those exploring the sport.
For athletes ready to commit to high-performance training and elite competition. Members of the P-Team have advanced through developmental programs and are aiming for top-tier events such as Provincials and Nationals.
This level includes increased training expectations and travel, with competition opportunities available by invitation.
