“1-ON-1” Lessons

Lessons can be purchased a maximum of 10 days and a minimum of 2 days prior. We will be accepting walk-in lesson bookings based on Instructor availability. We cannot guarantee instructor availability for requests made on short notice.

Nitehawk and its TEAM of certified Ski and Snowboard Instructors want to help you have a fun and rewarding experience on the slopes!  Our instructors are committed to sharing their love of the sport and to using their training to provide you with a positive snow sport experience. All programs, camps, and lessons are organized to recognize the needs of the student along with their age and ability.

Discovery Package

(Ages 7 & up)

Our Discovery Package is designed for first-time skiers and snowboarders, and offers a perfect blend of fun, learning, and adventure. This is your chance to glide down the slopes and discover the joy of winter sports in a safe and welcoming environment!

With the guidance of our friendly and professional instructors, you’ll receive personalized attention in a group setting, making it easier to learn and connect with fellow beginners.

This package includes:

• equipment rentals
• lift ticket
• and a 1.5-hour group lesson

Times: Fridays 5:30-7:00 PM; Saturdays & Sundays 3:00-4:30 PM.

Tiny Tot Lesson

(Age 3) 

Experience the joy of skiing or snowboarding with our private 1-on-1 lessons designed especially for toddlers! In a playful and encouraging environment, your child will explore the snow while having fun and building confidence. This is the perfect introduction to winter sports, where the focus is on enjoyment and discovery—no pressure, just pure fun! Give your toddler the chance to embrace the slopes in a way that fosters a love for outdoor adventure.

Package Includes:

• Equipment Rentals (discount is not available for students who have their own gear)
• Lift Ticket
• 30-Minute Lesson (On Bobs Bump ONLY) 

Times: Saturday & Sundays 10:00-10:30am or 10:30-11:00am (30minutes)

Mighty Tykes Lesson

(Ages 4-6)

The Mighty Tykes Lesson is a private 1-on-1 lesson for little kids! Your child will be introduced to the sport of Skiing or Snowboarding in a fun and safe environment, with a Certified CSIA or CASI Instructor that is trained to teach younger students.

Package Includes:

• Equipment Rentals (discount is not available for students who have their own gear)
• Lift Ticket
• 1-Hour Private Lesson

Times: Available during operating hours, please book in advance by calling the Adventure School.

Junior Private Lessons

(Ages 7-9)

The Junior Private Lesson is a private 1-on-1 lesson for your 7-to 9-year-old. Your child will be introduced to the sport of Skiing or Snowboarding in a fun and safe environment, with a certified CSIA or CASI Instructor that is trained to teach young students.

Package includes:

• Lift ticket 

• Private 1-hour lesson

Please book in advance by calling the snow school direct so we can confirm an instructor is available.

Lesson Bundles

Private Lessons

(Ages 10+)

Flexible lesson times to suit your busy schedule. These lessons are suitable for any ability from first timers to advanced. This program is offered as a private 1-on-1 lesson or make it a private “group” lesson for you and your spouse or friend(s). Ask about special pricing for additional people or extra hours.

This package includes:

• a 1-hour lesson with the option of two hours or more back-to-back.
• Lift Ticket for the day.
• Special pricing available for additional people.

Times: Available to book during all Operating Hours, call the snow school to book in advance.

Cancellation Policy

Lessons will be cancelled if weather conditions force a hill closure or may be subject to rescheduling at the customer’s discretion if temperatures feel like -25 Celsius and below. Follow us on Facebook, view our website homepage, or call the Adventure school for updates at 780-532-6637. Lessons will be rescheduled for the following week at the same time.

Nitehawk does require at least 48 hours notice for any non-weather cancellations. This is to allow us enough time to cancel your Instructor.

Should 48 hours notice not be given, 50% of the lesson cost will be retained to cover Administration and Instructor wage costs.

If you are cancelling day of lesson no refund will be issued.

Group Lesson Programs that are cancelled due to a weather forced closure may be made-up during the second or third week of a similar later camp. Should there not be any further camps that season, a pro-rated refund (total price paid divided by total weeks of program multiplied by weeks remaining) will be provided by the Administration upon request from the Customer. Camps will only be extended due to weather cancellations.

Please note when booking lessons Payment In Full is required to confirm your booking at the time of booking. We accept CASH, DEBIT, VISA, and MASTERCARD.

• Buff or face covering
• Goggles
• Base layers made of moisture-wicking fabric
• Winter jacket
• Waterproof snow pants
• Wool socks
• Gloves/mittens
• Neck warmer
• CWSAA approved Snow Sport Helmet (Included in rental)
• Snowboard boots or ski boots (Included in rental)
• Snowboard or skis and poles (Included in rental)
• Dress in layers so you can adjust your temperature for hill conditions and stay dry.
